Courtsports Eugene

Peggy Grimes

The Courtsports Fitness Director since 1997, Peggy holds a B.S. in Fitness Management, and certifications from ACSM, the Cancer Exercise Training Institute, AEA, and MAT.  She specializes in using MAT (Muscle Activation Technique) to restore proper body alignment and correct muscular imbalances/weaknesses; incorporating core work and high intensity intervals into strength training routines to facilitate weight loss; and helping cancer survivors regain fitness after treatment and/or surgery. 

Chuck Haley

Chuck is certified by the American Council on Exercise for Personal Fitness Training and Titlist Performance Institute for Golf Fitness Instructor.  He has thirty years experience in exercise and believes fitness is for life.  He coaches people to develop a balanced lifestyle of proper conditioning and nutritional fuel. 

Angel Medina

Angel’s goal is to share the extensive exercise and nutritional knowledge he has gained from military services and his own struggle to maintain his fitness after exiting the USMC.  Angel sees potential and promise in every body he trains.  He is fluent in both English and Spanish. 

erin piibor

Erin earned a Master's Degree in Exercise Science (MS) as well as a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Indiana State University. The Chicago native is a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. Her training focus includes but is not limited to: injury prevention/rehabilitation, pre/post natal care, weight loss, functional fitness, athletic performance, agility and range of motion, coordinated dance, sculpting and stretching. Erin's goal as a trainer is to create effective workouts that support each individual's needs and goals. 

raina boundurant

Raina comes to us from the LCC Exercies and Movement Science program.  Her specialties include using combination moves and interval training to streamline workouts and facilitate neural activation.  In addition, she strives to maximize calorie expenditure, helping moms ge back into pre-baby shape, and training for better function in day-to-day activities.

Suzy Riedman

Suzy has been a member of Courtsports off and on since she was 10 years old and worked around the club in various positions from 2003 to 2007. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA, training clients in Hawaii from 2008-2011 and teaching yoga since 1999. Suzy specializes in health improvement, holistic nutrition and training for triathlon and marathon competition.

casey anderson

Casey holds a B.S. in Human Physiology and APEX certification for Fitness Professionals.  Being an avid weightlifter and sports enthusiast, he focuses on maintaining the flexibility and strength required for his active life.  His specialities include improving sports performance, weight loss, core and functional training and maximizing lean muscle gain in individuals looking to stay healthy and fit for life.

marra bennett

Marra is a Certified Personal Trainer, yoga instructor, and lifestyle coach.  She has spent the last seven years helping people achieve their fitness goals, heal from injuries, turn their weaknesses into strengths, and achieve self-confidence and power.  Her focus is on the individual; meeting their needs through exercise programs that address not just their future (desires) but their present situations (correcting imbalances that hinder progress).  She focuses on healing, injury prevention, nutrition, and functional fitness with a holistic approach to health.

Morgan Watson

An ACE certified Fitness Professionals International, Morgan specializes in functional fitness.  Training since 2002, he enjoys seeing his clients reach their goals, both large and small.  An avid climber and mountaineer, he enjoys backpacking, running, traveling, scuba diving, as well as training for the next adventure!

With an AAS Degree in Exercise and Movement Science from Lane Community College, Don is a very active senior citizen who specializes in training people of all fitness levels who want to challenge themselves.  He loves to help people be healthy and have fun in the process!

jaala osban

Jaala holds an AAS Degree in Exercise and Movement Science from Lane Community College and the ACSM Health and Fitness Certification.  Jaala specializes in sports specific training, but also enjoys training people of all fitness levels.  She loves helping others achieve their fitness goals and strives to motivate others to live a healthy lifestyle.
