The Group Exercise and Fitness Director for Courtsports in Eugene, Erin holds an M.S. in Exercise Science as well as a Masters in Public Administration. An ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Erin's training focus includes injury prevention and rehabilitation, pre/post natal care, nutrition, weight loss, functional fitness, athletic performance, agility, range of motion, sculpting and stretching. Erin's goal as a trainer is to create effective and successful workouts that support each individual's needs and goals.
Peggy holds a B.S. in Fitness Management, with certifications from ACSM, MAT and Take Shape for Life weight management, plus specialized training from the Cancer Exercise Training Institute and AEA aquatics. She specializes in incorporating core work and high intensity intervals into strength training routines to facilitate weight loss, helping cancer survivors and other people with chronic conditions safely regain fitness;,and restoring proper body alignment and correct muscular balance.
Nathan comes to us from Warner Pacific College earning a B.S. in Health and Human Kinetics with an emphasis on Exercise Science. Nathan holds an NSCA-CPT certification and is currently working on his CSCS. A four year collegiate basketball player, Nathan has been a part of two competitive sweet-sixteen teams. His specialities include weight lifting, sport training, and core exercises.
Raina comes to us from the LCC Exercies and Movement Science program. Her specialties include using combination moves and interval training to streamline workouts and facilitate neural activation. In addition, she strives to maximize calorie expenditure, helping moms get back into pre-baby shape, and training for better function in day-to-day activities.
Suzy has been a member of Courtsports off and on since she was 10 years old and worked around the club in various positions from 2003 to 2007. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA, training clients in Hawaii from 2008-2011 and teaching yoga since 1999. Suzy specializes in health improvement, holistic nutrition and training for triathlon and marathon competition.
The Courtsports Fitness Director since 1997, Peggy holds a B.S. in Fitness Management, and certifications from ACSM, the Cancer Exercise Training Institute, AEA, and MAT. She specializes in using MAT (Muscle Activation Technique) to restore proper body alignment and correct muscular imbalances/weaknesses; incorporating core work and high intensity intervals into strength training routines to facilitate weight loss; and helping cancer survivors regain fitness after treatment and/or surgery.
Marra is a Certified Personal Trainer, yoga instructor, and lifestyle coach. She has spent the last seven years helping people achieve their fitness goals, heal from injuries, turn their weaknesses into strengths, and achieve self-confidence and power. Her focus is on the individual; meeting their needs through exercise programs that address not just their future (desires) but their present situations (correcting imbalances that hinder progress). She focuses on healing, injury prevention, nutrition, and functional fitness with a holistic approach to health.
An ACE certified Fitness Professionals International, Morgan specializes in functional fitness. Training since 2002, he enjoys seeing his clients reach their goals, both large and small. An avid climber and mountaineer, he enjoys backpacking, running, traveling, scuba diving, as well as training for the next adventure!
With an AAS Degree in Exercise and Movement Science from Lane Community College, Don is a very active senior citizen who specializes in training people of all fitness levels who want to challenge themselves. He loves to help people be healthy and have fun in the process!
Jaala holds an AAS Degree in Exercise and Movement Science from Lane Community College and the ACSM Health and Fitness Certification. Jaala specializes in sports specific training, but also enjoys training people of all fitness levels. She loves helping others achieve their fitness goals and strives to motivate others to live a healthy lifestyle.
